Pictures of the KARMEN Upgrade

In the 1996 an Upgrade of the KARMEN Experiment was performed in England, in order to reduce the background of the search for Neutrino Oscillations dramatically. The modules of the new Veto system were assembled in England at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and fixed to the walls of the partly deassembled blockhouse of the KARMEN Experiment.
